In October 2025, 40 partners from the GENESIS project convened at Fraunhofer IPMS in Dresden for the Work Package 4 meeting to jointly advance progress and upcoming milestones.

 

With the increasing demand for microchips, the ecological footprint of their manufacturing is also growing. In the EU project GENESIS, the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems IPMS is working with partners to develop technologies that make the manufacturing of these indispensable chips more sustainable.
